Washington DC women's professional team playing in the NWSL
The Washington Spirit is a professional women’s soccer team based in Washington D.C. Founded in November of 2012, the Spirit won their first NWSL Championship in 2021, led by star players like Trinity Rodman and Ashley Hatch. Known for their strong development of youth players and passionate fan base, the Spirit continue to be a competitive force in the league.
